What my rifle likes

In my 700 SPS 308, BH 175’s are the best factory round I’ve found for reliable distance shooting. Each firearm has its preference and I’ve found the one mine likes. If I do my part, will deliver consistent hits to 1000yds.

Best I've used in my AR10 20" 1:10 twist

I've tried many commerical rounds in varying bullet weights seeking to better the long range accuracy for my gasser .308. I've learned that a longer heavier BTHP is more stable in my 1:10 20" ss barrel. Narrowing the search to Hornady Federal Mag Tech HPR and Black Hills was what I did and found the Black Hills 175 grain was able to punch 3 in the paper at 300 yds in a group that I can cover with an IRA challenge coin. None of the others were that consistent. Performance speaks for itself. But I am giving Black Hills some assistance because their loaders deserve some Koodos.
