The best 5.56mm ammo you can find

by -

Just bought 11 boxes. Last weekend I used this ammo to shoot 10-round groups at 100 yards with Windham Weaponry heavy barrel 1 in 9 twist. I repeatedly got 10 rounds in 1 inch diameter circle. Shot from bench with front/rear bags for support. The batch I have is also laded a bit hotter than BH 77gr OTM SMK and IMI 77gr OTM SMK. At Temp=48F, RH=81% recorder 2628fps from 16 inch 1 in 9 barrel. IMI was 2615fps and BH 77gr OTM SMK was 2576fps. At higher temperature, Temp=73F, RH=45%, IMI was going 2693fps and BH 77gr OTM SMK was going 2681fps (same rifle). Need to measure TMK during summer too.

My reloads aren't even this good.

Cant beat it. This stuff shoots great. I run it my 18" SPR setup and it shoots sub MOA all day. I have been reloading for years and this stuff beats what I am able to do. I can get good accuracy, but no where near the velocity that BH are able to get (I am sure they have proprietary powders).
