The MK2 intermediate buffer features 7075-T6 aluminum construction, a hard coat anodized finish, and MIL-SPEC components for long-lasting endurance. It has a 6.5 ounce weight that provides a consistent carrier velocity and reduces felt recoil. It features an increased internal counter weight travel to reduce bolt bounce and an internal spring that reduces the noise of counter weight shifting. The BCM MK2 requires the BCM MK2 receiver extension and MIL-SPEC rifle M16 action spring for installation.
