The sporter contour barrel balances accuracy and weight, keeping this rifle light enough to carry all day. The 5/8"-24 belled muzzle threads directly onto most suppressors — a thread protector is included. The action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated for consistent accuracy regardless of field conditions. The rotary magazine feeds from the center with shoulder retention to protect bullet tips from striking the front of the magazine during recoil. The X-Bolt 2 receiver features additional bolt guidance surface area for smoother, faster cycling. The short 60-degree bolt lift cycles quickly and clears large optics. The Bolt Unlock Button works with the top-tang safety for safer chamber checking and unloading. The X-Lock scope mounting system uses four screws per base for a rock-solid optic connection. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel, preset at 3.5 lbs from the factory.
