The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite LR in 6.8 Western delivers a heavy sporter barrel in a high-energy hunting cartridge with 5/8"-24 threading and the Plus Magazine system in a reliable bolt action rifle with a configurable Vari-Tech stock, built for hunters who want greater capacity and suppressor-ready threading.

The 24" heavy sporter barrel is free-floated with the action bedded. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 for the included muzzle brake and thread protector, or a suppressor. The Plus Magazine system provides 6-round capacity. The Vari-Tech stock adjusts comb height, length of pull via spacers, and grip angle via interchangeable modules, with rubber overmolding on grip surfaces.

The receiver has additional bolt guidance surface area. The spiral-fluted bolt carries black-finished flutes and an extended handle with ergonomic knob. A 60° lift clears large optics. The Bolt Unlock Button works with the top-tang safety and the X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base. The DLX Trigger is preset at 3.5 lbs with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel.
