The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite SPR in 6.5 PRC delivers a long-range capable cartridge in a suppressor-ready bolt action rifle with a 20" barrel and 5/8"-24 threading on the Vari-Tech platform, built for hunters who run a suppressor.

The 20" barrel is shorter than standard Hunter Composite lengths to keep the overall package manageable with a suppressor attached and is free-floated with the action bedded for consistent accuracy. A thread protector is included. The Vari-Tech stock adjusts comb height, length of pull via spacers, and grip angle via interchangeable modules, with rubber overmolding on grip surfaces.

The receiver has additional bolt guidance surface area and the spiral-fluted bolt has an ergonomic knob. A 60° bolt lift clears large optics. The Bolt Unlock Button works with the top-tang safety and the X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base. The DLX Trigger is preset at 3.5 lbs with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel. The detachable magazine holds 3 rounds.

The steel barrel and receiver carry a non-reflective matte blued finish. The composite stock is matte finished. The 1-1/4" Inflex Recoil Pad enhances comfort. Matte blued sling swivel studs and a receiver drilled and tapped are standard. This rifle suits hunters who run a suppressor and want a dedicated shorter barrel rather than adapting a standard-length gun.
