The Caldwell Lead Sled 4 is a weighted shooting rest designed to reduce felt recoil by up to 95%, allowing shooters to sight in more precisely and quickly without developing recoil-induced flinch.

Four features define the Lead Sled 4's capability. The redesigned frame repositions the support tube below the weight tray, providing clearance for detachable box magazines, pistol grips, and lever-action receivers that earlier Lead Sled designs could not accommodate. The adjustable weight tray accepts Lead Sled Weight Reservoir Bags, lead shot, or standard 35 lb. barbell weight plates, giving you control over how much recoil reduction the system delivers. Front windage and elevation adjustments with a rear fine elevation adjustment allow precise, repeatable zeroing without repositioning the firearm between shots. The all-weather rubber front bag holds the stock securely without surface damage, while the Caldwell Shock Eliminating rear pad absorbs residual recoil and protects both stock and scope.
