Work's great !! mounting is easy on my AR and just as easy on my Ruger semi-auto // keep's the range brass in one place so clean-up is fast & easy the swing-out feature is the big benefit to gain access to any jam or mag problem // make this part of your range gear !!
Great brass catcher !!

This worked great on an AR-308. The mouth covers from behind the brass deflector to the front of the opening where the brass comes out. I have the brass catchers in various sizes, this particular one was awesome for the fact that it swings out for easy malfunction clearing. Likewise the version that slips on a rail mounted holder is a similar size and catches great. The only downside is that it is a nylon net...had a couple of the hot brass suspended from the net...figure I will make a bag out of cotton with a zipper, if the need arises. Super awesome to catch my brass, which I spend a good deal of work preparing...not to leave it on the ground. The retaining straps went in front of my scope mount and held securely enough. The thing did not present any issue causing jams...so, I am happy.
Save your brass and keep it looking nice.

Works fantastic, the flip to side feature to actually get in and remove a stuck case without taking the whole brass catcher off is nice, the zipper on bottom to just drop your range brass into your range bag is nice also. All the material seems quality and I expect many years of use out of this. I did have a homemade brass catcher made out of a coat hanger and pantyhose but that brought lots of strange looks at the range, with primary arms prices I couldn't refuse purchasing this and I don't regret it one bit.
Best bang for your buck brass catcher

Works better than the single loop brass catcher Caldwell makes
Almost Perfect

works fine. stays put. deducted one star because the wire frame is wearing holes in the mesh bag at the corners, and I haven't had it a long time. But if the price is right, I'll buy another one and modify it if need be.
It just needs some "padding"between the wire and the mesh.
The flip open feature is a must have on an AR rifle in orde to clear malfunctions, and makes it even handier to get the brass out since the zipper takes two hands to get it open and closed. The other brands are quite a bit more expensive, and I don't think they are that much better. I like it and recommend it as the best bang for the buck.

Update to my review. The product looks better than my current one. Still think it will be prone to wearing holes in the front corners. The back corners have webbing material that looks substantial, but the front corners look to be the same cheap "plastic" mesh. The hot cases stick to it. I have added some webbing to the front on my currtent one. I am happy with the purchase, the retailer, the shipping, and the fact that Primary Arms is located in Texas. I just wish the chinese would stop engineering products so that they don't last very long. They take a good product like this and put some some "soon to fail" feature in it. End of rant. Glad to fine Primary Arms store on the web.
