Built around a billet 4140 milled receiver rather than a stamped one, the MB47 Sharps offers improved rigidity and a more consistent fit than a traditional AK pattern rifle. The chrome-lined 16.5-inch barrel resists wear and corrosion from the 7.62x39mm cartridge's corrosive-primer heritage, and it's threaded 5/8x24 to accept a suppressor or muzzle device. The US Palm free float M-LOK rail replaces the traditional AK handguard with modern accessory mounting space, and the RAK-1 flat-faced trigger improves trigger feel over a standard AK trigger. Magpul and US Palm furniture rounds out a build that looks and handles more like a modern rifle than a traditional AK.
