CMMG's Radial-Delayed Blowback system uses a rotating bolt to add a delay beyond a simple blowback design, giving this 9mm carbine softer cycling and less felt recoil than a straight blowback gun. The CMMG ZEROED Linear Compensator redirects gas forward rather than to the sides, keeping muzzle blast out of your support-hand space in tight quarters.

Because this 8" barrel measures under 16", this complete upper is intended only for an AR pistol or a legally registered short-barreled rifle — attaching it to a standard rifle lower without the correct configuration violates federal law.

CMMG designs and manufactures its rifles and components in Fayette, Missouri, engineering platforms built to expand what the AR-15 can be chambered in and how it runs.
