The CMMG Dissent Mk47 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on 7075-T6 aluminum Mk47 upper and lower receivers in black Armor Cerakote with a 14.3-inch medium taper barrel and CMMG's bufferless Relia-Bolt short-stroke gas piston operating system.

The bufferless gas piston system eliminates the buffer tube entirely, allowing the DISSENT side-folding stock to fold flat and the rifle to fire with the stock folded — a significant practical advantage for vehicle carry, storage, and unconventional shooting positions. The DISSENT stock adjusts across eight length-of-pull positions and three cheek height positions, with three built-in QD sling sockets. The forward-mounted non-reciprocating side charging handle is switchable between left and right sides for ambidextrous operation.
