Great rail

In my opinion, Cross Machine Tool makes one of the best handguards on the market right now. Especially for the price, even though I think they might have increased some, but what hasn’t. They’re nice and light, have a good mounting system, and I really like the qd sling mount cups that are steel inserts. Because a steel qd mount will eventually chew away at the softer aluminum. It’s just a nice touch that you never see on cheaper handguards. I have mounted a few of them onto BCM upper receivers, and they fit perfectly.
Nice handguard

Got it on sale during Memorial Day. Minor fitment issue with Anderson Manufacturing upper receiver - likely upper's fault, Andersons can have sloppy tolerances. Anti rotation tabs and top rail not aligned. Filed to fit, I made it work.
It's rather light, as advertised. It's also skinnier than an anorexic model. This can cause problems with certain M-Lok accessories at 10:00 and 2:00 interfering with accessories on the top rail, like BUIS. Most slim rails seem to have this problem though.
The mounting system is pretty nice and everything else is fine. Good for a light carbine build.
