Pricey but worth it
I purchased a blemish black mystic bcg from cryptic coatings a few months ago (not from primary arms) and although these are a little pricey they are top notch. The coating is way slicker than nickel boron and so far i have no wear marks/points on the bcg.
It's not snake oil

I love mine. I can clean off all the carbon with a dry paper towel. This thing is sweet, and it almost slipped out of my hand the first time I picked it up. It's super slick and works flawlessly.
Great BCG and Cryptic CS is top notch

This is the slickest bolt I have ever felt and I have run nickel boron, chrome, black nitrite, and phosphate. It is pricey but is very simple to clean and putting one drop of lube on this makes it feel like it is soaked. I almost gave it four stars but due to Cryptic Coatings customer service, decided to still give it 5. After 170 rounds, the cam pin showed excessive wear. I sent them a picture and they said that is the first time they have seen that and they had a new cam pin sent out the same day. With that said, you can't go wrong with this BCG.
Best bolt carrier ever made
If you are putting anything else in your 5.56 AR you are making a mistake. This is the best BCG period.
