Introducing the Cryptic Coatings AR-15 5.56 NATO Steel Bolt Carrier Group in Mystic Gold. This full-auto BCG is compatible with AR-15, M16 and M4 platforms. It provides reliable function and performance with a Mil-Spec 8620 aircraft quality steel with chrome-lined interior and a shrouded firing pin.
This BCG comes complete with a chrome-lined and heat-treated gas key that is secured to the carrier with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked per Mil-Spec to ensure proper gas system functioning. It has shot-peened Carpenter No. 158 steel bolt assembly for increased strength per Mil-Spec. It also includes a tool steel extractor with spring and viton O-ring, a firing pin chromed finished with firing pin retaining pin and cam pin.

Compared to my NIB bcg’s I have used, this finish is lasting way better. I have had it for about a year in a suppressed 300 blk and still wipes clean like new. I would definitely buy again.

Did I really need this? No, but it sure looks sexy. Functions as should, clean up is easy. Only have about 150 rounds with it. No issues. I am a BCG snob, I would buy another if needed.

I have the mystic gold and black. My Father has the mystic silver. All of them clean off with a dry paper towel and the finish is super slick. I've only only shot the mystic gold for about 100 rounds and the finish is still perfect. The mystic black has about 1000 rounds in it and the cam pin is the only place with VERY slight wear. If you were reluctant to buy this bolt on a Gucci build, don't be! It's worth it!

Nice, and glassy slick finish! You can feel the difference from just racking the bolt back! The gold definitely looks great on black too!
