The uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny top rail supports optics and back-up sights without losing zero, while M-LOK attachment points along 7 positions of the rail cover lights, grips, and other accessories. A standard AR-15 barrel nut mounts the MFR XS using Daniel Defense's bolt-up system, which increases strength while reducing overall handguard diameter compared to a standard free float rail. At an actual length of 10.58 inches, this is the shorter option in the MFR XS line, giving a slim, lightweight free float rail for builds that don't need the full 13.5 or 15-inch coverage.
