The uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny top rail supports optics and back-up sights without losing zero, while M-LOK attachment points along 7 positions of the rail cover lights, grips, and other accessories. A standard AR-15 barrel nut mounts the MFR XS using Daniel Defense's bolt-up system, which increases strength while reducing overall handguard diameter compared to a standard free float rail. At an actual length of 15.34 inches, this is the longest option in the MFR XS line, giving the most M-LOK real estate for builds running a bipod and a light together.
