All Daniel Defense cold hammer forged barrels are manufactured start to finish in their state of the art facility in Black Creek, Georgia. The cold hammer forging process allows the barrel's rifling and chamber to be formed as the barrel is shaped, creating a defect free bore and the most consistent and concentric chamber possible. Starting with the best possible materials and ending with the best possible finishes, these barrels will prove to be more accurate and longer lasting than traditionally cut or button rifled competitors.
This stripped barrel assembly does not include gas block or muzzle device.

I bought this barrel for a MK18 Clone. It is an awesome barrel that has been accurate and durable. Daniel Defense released two different types, one with a 0.070" gas port and the other is 0.082" gas port. Most people will have the 0.082 which is larger than mil-spec. What that does for you is it is going to be an over-gassed which means you need to increase buffer weight or get an adjustable gas block. The slightly larger gas port, in theory, helped with all different types of ammo; from weak steel cased .223 to the most expensive 5.56
