The uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny top rail supports optics and back-up sights without losing zero, while M-LOK attachment points along 7 positions of the rail cover lights, grips, and other accessories. A standard AR-15 barrel nut mounts the MFR XS using Daniel Defense's bolt-up system, which increases strength while reducing overall handguard diameter compared to a standard free float rail. At an actual length of 9.04 inches, this is the shortest option in the MFR XS line, suited to pistol and short-barrel builds where a compact, lightweight rail matters most.
