The Daniel Defense DD4 RIS III Barreled AR-15 Upper Receiver is a Primary Arms Exclusive build around an 11.5" cold hammer forged barrel and DD's RIS III M-LOK handguard, giving carbine and AR-pistol builders a duty-grade foundation without the NFA wait on a complete DD upper.

The 1:7 twist chrome-moly vanadium barrel is built for consistent accuracy across the 5.56 NATO pressure and bullet-weight range, and the RIS III handguard's M-LOK slots give you room to mount lights, grips, and other accessories without giving up the free-float accuracy benefit. The Mil-Spec upper receiver's M4 feed ramps and indexing marks keep feeding reliable and let you remount optics in the same position every time.

This model wears Daniel Defense's standard black finish on both the receiver and RIS III handguard.
