The Daniel Defense Gen II Muzzle Climb Mitigator is the refined and enhanced version of their effective muzzle brake. The redesigned model features additional top porting and reprofiled baffles for even greater recoil and muzzle climb reduction, keeping your muzzle flatter for faster and more accurate follow up shots. Machined from 17-4 precipitation hardened stainless steel with an exceptionally corrosion resistant salt bath nitride finish for maximum durability.

Decent Compensator

This muzzle device does what it claims to do, eliminate muzzle climb, and it does that job extremely well. What this does NOT do is significantly reduce muzzle flash or recoil. Muzzle blast and concussion is lower than a traditional muzzle break, but higher than a mil-spec A2 flash hider. For rapid firing this really keeps the rifle flat and on target, the bullseye usually never leaves my optic.

Good enough

I've had this brake on my rifle for about 8 months now. It works well enough to know it does mitigate muzzle climb but I will probably replace it soon for a different more high end brake just for personal preference

Does exactly what it's supposed to.

I put this on a 10.5" pistol build and it performed great! Shooting off hand it is very easy to stay on target and make quick follow up shots. I noticed that when firing the muzzle actually went slightly down rather than up like I am used too. I'm buying another one to put on my rifle soon!
