I've used two of these in the .625 version which are next to impossible to find now. When you compare the thickness of the material on these gas blocks to others you will notice that the material that goes around the barrel is twice the thickness. I know it's overkill but I used rocksett on the screws and sent mine out to have it pinned and the second one I pinned by taking measurements off the first after I got it back.
This is the only thing i'll ever buy from DD for political reasons, but it is higher quality than any other set screw gas block i've seen.

Used this gas block to replace the standard front sight tower on my patrol rifle, a Colt LE6920. Installation of the new block was easy and straight forward, but the removal of the factory gas tube was a total PITA but thats another matter. I'm very picky on what goes on my work rifle and this product definitely fits the bill.

DD LP gas block

Primary Arms was great to deal with. Fast Shipping and a good PriceDD Block had some issues I had to fix, but not Primary's fault. The inside dims on both places where the gas tube inserts and the clamp over the barrel were both way too small. I contacted DD, but never got a response so I took it upon myself to fix. Small amount of sanding with a very fine piece of sand paper did the trick. The Tube insert was so tight before I sanded, I actually got a tube stuck in there and it broke coming out.

Fits perfect on my strip 7.62x39 Sota Arm's stainless steel barrel. Product was out of stock at the time, and was notified that item was back in stock. Ordered one, received confirmation, and sent out the same day. I'm very impress with Primary Arm's. I ordered a lot from online businesses, but NEVER seen that kind of speedy services, especially with the political climate and chaotic times.
