The upper receiver is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, a high-strength material often used in aerospace applications. It includes M4 feed ramps for improved feeding reliability and is finished with a Type III hard coat anodizing to ensure durability and protection against wear.

The barrel is crafted from cold hammer-forged chrome moly vanadium steel, designed to handle extreme conditions. Measuring 14.5 inches with a 1:7 twist rate, it is chrome-lined for added corrosion resistance and finished with a heavy phosphate coating. Additionally, the barrel has been HP/MPI tested for quality assurance, ensuring it meets strict military standards.

The gas system features a Mil-Spec F-marked front sight base and operates on a carbine-length direct impingement system, which has long been trusted for its reliability and ease of maintenance. At the muzzle, the Surefire SF3P flash hider/suppressor adapter is precision-machined from US mill-certified, heat-treated stainless steel and coated with black Ionbond DLC for exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. This muzzle device is pinned and welded to the barrel to meet legal compliance.

The bolt carrier group follows the M16 profile and is Mil-Spec MP tested. It is chrome-lined and includes a properly staked gas key, ensuring consistent and reliable operation, even under heavy use. The included A1.5 fixed rear sight is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, offering a rugged design with Type III hard coat anodizing for long-lasting durability.

Finally, the handguard is Daniel Defense’s M4A1 FSP Rail Interface System (RIS) II. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this sturdy handguard provides a reliable platform for accessories and is finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) with a durable anodized coating.
