The Daniel Defense MK12 Gas Block is the result of Daniel Defense being awarded the contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. Built entirely to Crane specifications for USSOCOM, this gas block ships with gas tube roll pin, mounting screws, and wrench.
The Daniel Defense MK12 Gas Block is a low-profile gas block designed for AR-15 and AR-10 platforms with .750" gas block journals.
Set screw mounting method for secure barrel attachment. Low-profile design fits under virtually any free-float handguard.

Not guaranteed to fit under most rails

Daniel Defense states this gas block is only guaranteed to fit under their RIS II rail system but they do not include this information in the description. Be warned it may not fit under other rails because it has so much chunkier on the bottom than most gas blocks. Had I know this I would not have bought it and would have bought another low pro gas block.

It's Daniel Defense, so you know it has great quality, but to be honest the gas block on my friends AR that only cost $20 looks and feels to be the same, so not sure why I bothered to pay 3x more just for a name.
