The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II 10.3" 5.56 NATO Complete Upper Receiver offers enhanced performance reliability for your next AR-15 build. This upper receiver features a 10.3-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel made from Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel. The barrel is chrome lined, with a Mil-Spec Heavy Phosphate coating and a 1:7 twist rate. It also includes a Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor made from 17-4 PH Stainless Steel with a Salt Bath Nitride finish. The upper receiver itself is CNC machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum, offering robust construction with Type III Hard Coat Anodizing for enhanced durability.

The M4A1 RIS II upper receiver features a carbine-length gas system with a pinned low-profile gas block CNC machined from 4140 hardened steel. The 9.5-inch lightweight RIS III rail, modeled after the SOCOM-developed RIS II, includes M-LOK attachment points for a versatile and lightweight handguard option. The upper receiver group also includes an M16 profile bolt carrier group, which is chrome-lined and Mil-Spec MP tested, with a properly staked gas key. The GRIP-N-RIP Charging Handle is CNC machined from 7076-T6 Aluminum for the body and 6061-T6 Aluminum for the handles and latch, ensuring durability and ease of use.
