The Daniel Defense Rail-Mount Fixed Front Sight gives shooters a lightweight, streamlined fixed sight built to mount behind compact weapon lights like the Streamlight TLR-1 or SureFire X300 without blocking light activation. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this AR-15 iron sight uses Daniel Defense's patented one-piece Rock and Lock mounting system for a fast, rock-solid attachment.
Features:
- Glare-reducing serrated rear ramp
- One-piece Rock and Lock mounting system
- Uses standard AR-15 front sight posts
- Concave tower radius clears compact weapon lights
- 6061-T6 aluminum construction
- MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodized black finish
- 1.1 oz weight
The concave tower radius lets this sight sit directly behind a compact weapon light while still allowing fast, easy activation from either hand, and the serrated rear ramp cuts glare for a cleaner sight picture. The one-piece Rock and Lock mounting system installs without tools and locks down securely, giving shooters the simplicity of a fixed iron sight on a free-float handguard.
Daniel Defense has manufactured AR-platform rifles and components since 2000, focused on building durable, combat-proven parts for military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters.

DD Fixed Front Sight
by Jarhead
Well, this is my second one. And this time paired up with their A1.5 Rear Fixed Sight. I believe that these are the best fixed iron sights. They are strong, sturdy and once you zero them, you can forget about them and not worry zeroing them again.
They will look great on any set up. Lightweight and low profile. Thanks PA for fast shipping!—-Semper Fi

Lightweight and very solid. I purchased this for my 10.3 AR Pistol Build. It will be paired up with either a Magpul Mbus Pro or a Midwest Industries Flip up Combat rear. Thank you PA—- Semperfi
Not worth the $

Front Sight came loose. Skinny post used to put your aim on target was wobbly and not sturdy. Emailed them asking to send a replacement, havent heard back yet.
Solid performance, great price.

The DD front sight is light, strong, and can use standard AR front sight posts. If you need a fixed rail-mounted front sight, this is the one to get.

I purchased the Daniel Defense fixed front sight and could not be happier with it. Very solid mount on rail and very rugged as well, feels like a permanent part of my rifle. Customer service was excellent and I received my order in under a week. I look forward to my next purchase through Primary Arms.
