The Daniel Defense RIS III AR-15 Handguard features a free-floating barrel design that eliminates interference between the barrel and the handguard, resulting in increased accuracy. Constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the handguard is lightweight yet rugged, ensuring durability and longevity. It is designed to withstand rigorous shooting activities and adverse conditions without compromising performance.

The secure bolt-up system utilizes a proven 6-bolt attachment method, ensuring a solid connection between the handguard and the upper receiver. This eliminates any unwanted movement or play, providing stability and reliability during shooting. The handguard features an uninterrupted upper rail platform with a Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rail, allowing for easy attachment of optics, scopes, or other accessories, as well as 7 positions of M-LOK compatible rail along the length of the handguard. Compatible with the RIS II bolt-up system and RIS II lower rail, the Daniel Defense RIS III Handguard seamlessly integrates into existing setups without compatibility issues.
