The Expo Arms AR-15 Rifle Buffer Weight features a 7075 Aluminum construction with reciprocating internal weights that equal out to 5.4 ounces. The internal weights reciprocate within the body helping to prevent bolt bounce and smooth out the recoil impulse. This rifle length buffer only works in rifle length buffer tubes and will not work in a carbine buffer tube.
