Another great option for an inexpensive mil spec upper

by -

So far been pretty impressed with the Expo Arms line of AR parts. The upper I received was a Cardinal forged upper, anodizing is nice, machining is great. Not much to say its a mil spec upper, it does the job. I'm pleased with the product and Primary Arms service is second to none.

Could be better but overall I'm happy

Receiver is beautifully made, finish is nice but is a bit darker than I'd like. The finish is slightly darker than any other AR upper or lower I own from several different manufactures, so it doesn't match anything. Also the fit is a little sloppy on most of my lowers as well, dealing with AR's I've come to expect to use wedges or something to tighten them up. Not sure what the forging mark is on this receiver, it's not the normal square or keyhole, it is unique and I've never seen it before. All in all it's a good upper

I'm happy with this purchase but I have a complaint. Overall it's a quality product. On several different lowers it has a sloppy fit and must use a wedge to tighten it up. The finish is slightly darker then any other upper and lower I own so it doesn't match anything.
<br>With that said it is well made and will definitely work.
