The Expo Arms Forged Assembled AR-15 Upper Receiver is a solid foundation for your custom upper build. Precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forging with a mil-spec hardcoat anodized finish, this upper ensures rugged durability. The M4 feed ramp cuts improve reliability by guiding rounds directly into the chamber when the bolt strips them from the magazine. This assembled AR-15 upper has standard mil-spec components installed for convenience.

Good upper. Mixed fit

It’s a good upper. Fitment was mixed between lowers but generally tight. I had to use a round file to get the rear takedown pin to fit, so now the rear pin hole on the upper is ever so slightly a oval/ellipse than a perfect circle. All other attachments such as barrel, handguard...etc has been great with no issues.

I have to concur with the other review. The fit is loose on the Anderson lower I mated it with. Thinking it may have been the lower I tried mating it with several other lowers and had the same results. With that said delivery was quick and the product is otherwise decent and functional.
Another great option for an inexpensive mil spec upper

So far been pretty impressed with the Expo Arms line of AR parts. The upper I received was a Cardinal forged upper, anodizing is nice, machining is great. Not much to say its a mil spec upper, it does the job. I'm pleased with the product and Primary Arms service is second to none.

I'm happy with this purchase but I have a complaint. Overall it's a quality product. On several different lowers it has a sloppy fit and must use a wedge to tighten it up. The finish is slightly darker then any other upper and lower I own so it doesn't match anything.
With that said it is well made and will definitely work.
