It's a gas block.

Fit and finish is really good. The gas tube hole is drilled all the way through, but wasn't a problem. The set screw holes lined up perfectly with the barrel.

my aero gas tube as kinda loose. will definitely leak gasses/carbon for awhile. also, i dont like the the gas tube bore is drilled all the way through, makes it possible to install backwards. i also had some issues with the dimples not aligning the block with my expo barrel

Very happy with my purchase on this block, it’s steel and the nitride treatment is smooth and great color! Not much to go wrong so if you need one grab this one and save a lil bit cash to put into other stuff.
