Easy to clean, I prefer this look over black, easy to spot all the gun powder.

Good now

The first one I got wasnt staked on the second bolt for the gas key. Plus the hex was stripped out. Had to pay shipping to return item. Not primarys fault, but for a higher end bcg, fail zero's quality control should be better, especially on something so obvious. The replacement was acceptable, but the staking on the same hex bolt was minimal. Not blown away by it so far though. It looks pretty. At least its made in the US.
Silky smooth

Garbage BCG, Garbage Customer Service

I used this BCG from fail zero in my Aero EPC build. I went with the nickel boron coating as I do in almost all of my firearms. Upon arrival the BCG’s finish looked to be acceptable, not great. I cleaned and lubricated the BCG. After the first 200 rounds through the rifle and I took it apart to clean and see how the BCG was wearing and let me tell you I was surprised. The BCG was showing major signs of wear on the coating but the rest of the gun was fine. I continued after cleaning and oiling the gun again. This time I put about 400 rounds through it until until I had a failure.
The firing retaining pin somehow managed to bend and starting to back itself out of the BCG, this caused the firing pin itself to stick in the more forward position. As I went to charge my rifle, it actually sent a round down range and into the target. Furthermore I have been trying to get in contact with someone from fail zero for over a week and have not had anyone return my phone calls.
