The Faxon Firearms Low Profile AR-15 Gas Block is bored through the middle of its profile for a lightweight build, fastening to the barrel with three Allen screws instead of the usual two. Built for barrels with a .625" gas seat diameter, this low profile gas block keeps things simple with a fixed, non-adjustable orifice for shooters who don't need on-the-fly tuning.

Using three screws instead of two spreads clamping force more evenly around the barrel, which helps keep the block from shifting under recoil. Faxon recommends using a thread-locking compound like Loctite on the set screws, and this gas block does not include a gas tube roll pin, so plan to reuse an existing one or source one separately. Boring through the center of the profile trims extra weight from the block without giving up the strength needed to handle a running gas system, keeping the front of a lightweight build as trim as possible.
