This Faxon Firearms 5.56 AR-15 barrel features an integrally machined 3-port muzzle brake, so you don’t have to send your barrel and muzzle brake off to a gunsmith, spend extra money, and wait a crazy amount of time to get your barrel pinned and welded to meet the overall 16” length. This gives you the lighter weight and better maneuverability of a shorter barrel without having to go through the NFA. The muzzle brake also features a slim outer diameter, so you can easily install and remove gas blocks. It features a mid-length gas system and pencil profile to reduce weight as much as possible.

Outstanding customer service from Faxon!!!!

The barrel I purchased had a minor defect in the chamber throat. I emailed Faxon about the problem and got an immediate response. They apologized for the inconvenience and shipped me a new barrel right away. Most companies would make you return the defective item first, not these folks, they shipped a new barrel with a return label inside the box so I could return the defective barrel. They didn't try to blame me for incorrect installation or have me send it back for them to "evaluate" nope! just sent me a new barrel. How refreshing is it to have a company stand behind their product like that? The fit an finish on both barrels was flawless, machining is perfect, quality is obvious. If you're looking for an awesome, lightweight barrel from a company who takes pride in what they do, this is it! Well done Faxon!

Very disappointed

I was looking forward to this Faxon barrel. I can tell you after seeing the finish on this thing I was extremely disappointed. I do not see how it even leaves the factory like this. Chamber is full of corrosion. The exterior finish is also very spotty and dull. I am returning this barrel and going elsewhere. $24 cost to me to ship back. I cannot see where to post pictures for the review or I would. Primary Arms did sent me a return authorization number and this barrel is headed back to Texas.
