The Faxon Firearms 6.8 SPC / .224 Valkyrie Bolt Assembly is designed for long lasting reliability. The Bolt is made from 9310 tool steel and Nitride coated to increase surface hardness even more. Additionally, it is shot peened and magnetic particle inspected to ensure safe and reliable function for thousands of rounds. The locking lugs are chamfered by 45 degrees to improve lockup for improved function and reliability with high pressure rounds. The extractor is made from S7 steel, which is optimal for resisting the violent shock of pulling cartridges out of the chamber after being shot. Just drop it into a Mil-Spec AR-15 bolt carrier and it is ready to run in your .224 Valkyrie or 6.8 SPC build.

They didn't have a complete .224 VALKYRIE/6.8 SPC II BCG in nitride finish. I parted my own. Rubber City bolt carrier and Faxon bolt. I wish they would of reminded me it did not come with a cam pin but Forward Controls Design Cam Pin with Witness Mark - Nitrided came along with a Rubber City Rubber City Armory Stainless Steel AR-15 Firing Pin - Nitride soon after. The bolt carrier did have the firing pin retrain which I didn't see listed, so was happy I didn't need to get one on that second order. All fit together like a dream.
