With virtually all components coated in a slick, highly corrosion resistant salt bath nitride finish, this 6mm ARC/6,5 Grendel AR-15 bolt carrier group is crafted for a long service life. The M16 cut, superfinished carrier offers greater durability and features a properly staked gas key fastened with grade 8 hardware and Permatex sealed. The 9310 tool steel bolt has been shot peened per MIL-SPEC and magnetic particle inspected. The locking lugs are chamfered for more reliable operation.

Things that make you go Hmmmmm?

After ordering this Faxon BCG 6.5 Grendel along with a Faxon barrel I immediately started my build. When I tested the headspace with a Go gauge it wouldn't pass. ( HMMMM ? ) It puzzled me is it the barrel? or the bolt? I called Faxon and they told me to send both items to them so they can evaluate this problem and sent me a RMA label and off it went. In conclusion they returned both items with an explanation that they replaced the bolt because the bolt face was off in height hence not being able to close. Yeah, are you thinking what I'm thinking? HMMMMM.
