Standard AR-15 uppers with 5.56 feed ramps aren't designed for .338 ARC's case geometry and won't reliably cycle the cartridge — this upper's purpose-modified feed ramps are the piece most builders overlook. The adjustable gas block lets you tune dwell time across suppressed and unsuppressed use and across subsonic and supersonic loads, which matters given .338 ARC's wide ammunition range.

Because this 12.5" barrel measures under 16", this complete upper is intended only for an AR pistol or a legally registered short-barreled rifle — attaching it to a standard rifle lower without the correct configuration violates federal law.
