Thanks to the carbon fiber construction, this handguard is up to 40% lighter than a traditional aluminum handguard of the same length, without giving up the strength and durability needed to handle extreme duty cycles. Eight complete M-LOK facets wrap the rail for mounting lights, grips, and other accessories, and the low heat transfer of carbon fiber keeps the handguard cooler to the touch than aluminum during extended strings of fire. A steel barrel nut adds rigidity at the mounting interface, and the 1.7-inch inside diameter fits common suppressors under the rail for a cleaner, integral-looking setup.
