Fortis Manufacturing Enhanced AR-15 End Plate System - K1 - FDE Castle Nut - Tapered

When designing the new Fortis Lightweight Enhanced lock nut and endplate system, the goal was to keep weight light and eliminate the use of complicated tools, wrenches, and ratchets. The K1 system has a conical lock nut to seal itself on the endplate. This ultra-precise fit allows the lock nut to be in place and locked in without staking the endplate. There is no ratchet, no set screws, and the K1 castle nut won't back out. No torque wrench is required. Just tighten to 1/4ths, turn off hand tightness.
