Fortis Enhanced AR-15 End Plate System - K2 - FDE Castle Nut - Locking Lever

When designing the new Fortis Lightweight Enhanced lock nut and endplate system, the goal was to keep weight light and eliminate the use of complicated tools, wrenches, and ratchets. The K2 system uses a locking lever mechanism that seats itself through a slot on the bottom of the endplate and into cutouts on the castle nut. This ultra-precise fit allows the lock nut to be in place and locked in without staking the endplate. There is no ratchet, no set screws, and the K2 castle nut won't back out.
