- Type III hard coat anodized
- Wider T-handle for latch protection and better grip
- Gentle rearward sweeping slope of the T-handle to reduce snagging

Purpose built Charging handle.

For whatever reason the trigger and the charging handle on the MCX are uncomfortable, at least to me. I’ve spent most of my life including my career around the AR platform. This is the best charging handle I’ve ever used. No hyperbole. It’s solid, takes a lot of the gritty feeling out of charging the MCX. The redirect for the gas alone is worth the money. I don’t want to sound like a shill for Forward Controls Design but their products work well. It seems like a lot of the gear being made today is designed for aesthetics over function. Forward controls Design balances function and reliability with aesthetic. I don’t own a lot of their products, but I’ve been impressed enough that I look through their designs first before going elsewhere. Their products are simple and elegant. Primary arms as always is the standard for buying anything firearm related.
