Details

The Forward Controls Design ASF-90 is an ambidextrous safety selector for the AR-15 designed for the rigors of combat. Created in collaboration with Sons of Liberty Gunworks, the ASF-90 is built with incredible precision to minimize any wiggle between the levers and center. With roll pins to secure the levers to the center and quality materials used in every part of the construction, the FCD ASF-90 is a great replacement for anyone who needs extra durability in their build.

Quality Selector

I've put together all kinds of AR's with all kinds of selectors--I really like this safety selector. It's built very well--fits like it should, and functions perfectly. The lever looks great too. The nitride finish is beautiful. The machining is perfect. In terms of feel, I don't think this lever will disappoint. At first when I installed it I didn't like the roll pins that are used to secure the levers to the body. You have to be careful, but once installed it is rock solid and going no where unless at some point you decide to knock out the pins and remove it. After playing with it for a couple hours it's become my favorite selector--the feel is amazing. Worth every penny (just my opinion).

Worth Every Penny

Having tried a number of high-end selectors, and plenty of budget options including surplus, this is by far the absolute best feeling selector I have ever used.

Exceptionally positive detents with very firm lockup. The machining of the lever and barrel interface is phenomenal with little to no play, and the roll pin installation is rock solid. Serrations are not overly-aggressive but afford ample purchase.

This is my first product from FCD and certainly will not be my last.
