The Forward Controls Design Ejection Port Cover, or EPC, is a high-quality port cover for AR-15 rifles designed with precision using TDP dimensions. The EPC is made from billet 7075 aluminum, making it both durable and lightweight. The hard coat Type III anodized finish also protects from corrosion and wear.

One of the unique features of the EPC is the two "tabs" on either side of the port cover spring cutout. These tabs allow the EPC to rest on the upper receiver at a greater angle when in the down position, creating more space between the cover and the lower receiver.
