The Forward Controls Design OPF‑G6 RMR plate is a precision‑machined 17‑4 stainless steel mounting solution for Glock 17/19/45 Gen 6 ORS slides, engineered specifically for Trijicon’s RMR‑footprint red dot sights including the RMR, RMR HD, RCR, and SRO.

Designed around Trijicon’s tight tolerances, it ensures a secure, movement‑free fit while filling the front and rear gaps on Gen 6 ORS slides. The plate fully interfaces with Glock’s new spindle‑shaped ORS pocket and rear locking tab to prevent rotation or shifting. Only the original RMR requires a sealing plate due to its bottom battery compartment; the RMR HD, RCR, and SRO mount directly without one. Forward Controls intentionally avoided a full‑width support design—which would add 0.07" of height—to preserve the Gen 6’s lower optic position. The plate is engineered to eliminate reliance on upward tension, preventing load transfer to screws and ensuring long‑term durability under extreme recoil.
