Best Muzzle Brake Style!

by -

Normally I steer clear of any muzzle brakes and run A2 flash hiders or an equivalent device to prevent excess noise and dust printing.

Have yet to run this brake with a suppressor, but have run it a good bit on a modernized Mk12 rifle. The brake functions very well to reduce overall recoil force without changing its behavior, will hold the weapon/scope on target with bipod or static rest for successive fire without moving anything, and best of all - the muzzle blast is just a very soft boom like larger bore 7.62 rifle, even under corrugated metal shade or in a brickwork corner like I shot from once. There's no sharp pressure spike, spotters and shooters around you are not disturbed at all or peeved by concussive impulses like let's say Precision Armament M4-72 or SilencerCo ASR brake would cause, and because there's not a large pressure spike or jets of redirected blast, the dust signature is *very* low outside of the lightest powdered sand or dirts.
