The Freedom Arms Model 97 in .22 LR is a precision-built single-action revolver from a manufacturer known for extremely tight tolerances and genuine premium fit and finish, giving owners a rimfire revolver built to a standard well above typical production guns.

Features:

• Chambered in .22 LR for genuinely affordable, low-recoil practice and target shooting
• Single-action revolver operation with a traditional cock-and-fire manual of arms
• Stainless steel construction for genuine durability and corrosion resistance
• Freedom Arms' reputation for extremely tight machining tolerances
• A compact frame sized smaller than the company's larger-caliber Model 83 revolvers
• Premium fit and finish uncommon in typical production rimfire revolvers

Freedom Arms has built its reputation on genuinely premium single-action revolvers with machining tolerances well beyond typical production firearms, and the Model 97 brings that same manufacturing standard to an affordable rimfire chambering.

As a used revolver, buyers should have the action and timing inspected by a qualified gunsmith if there's any uncertainty about its mechanical condition. That reliability shows up range trip after range trip, year after year. It's built to perform consistently for anyone who picks it up. As with any used firearm, a function check before regular carry is always a good idea.
