The Freedom Ordnance FX9R16 extends the FX-9's modular 9mm platform to a full 16-inch rifle configuration, giving shooters a pistol caliber carbine built on the same billet receiver and blowback system as the rest of the FX-9 line. Built for range use, home defense, or training, this Pistol Caliber Carbine delivers rifle-length sight radius and velocity in 9mm.

At 16 inches, the FX9R16 is built and sold as a rifle rather than a pistol, giving shooters the longest sight radius and best velocity out of any FX-9 configuration. The included muzzle brake helps manage recoil, and because the platform is fully modular, this rifle can be rebuilt down to a shorter pistol configuration using other Freedom Ordnance FX-9 barrels.
