Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

It really was as easy as it looked. This chronograph weighs nothing, fits in your pocket, and recharges with the same cord as most phones use today. It's got 4 buttons and very intuitive options. If this is your first chronograph, no need to be intimidated at all.

I took it out and pointed it at my target. Immediately got readings from my first shots downrange. Couldn't be easier!

Bought for using with rifles but first use was with a handgun. In a indoor range my daughter's 5 inch barreled PDP was giving us FTE almost every shot. Had the C1 PRO in my range bag. Set it up on the shelf and fired standing over top of it. It calls for a 15 inch or closer to firearm range. At 6' 1" I was way past the 15 inches and it picked up every shot from 3 15 round magazines. Problem brand 115 grain ammo shot a average of 1120 fps. Two other 115 grain brands fired averages of 1165 and 1220 fps and the PDP ran flawlessly with those. The C1 PRO showed 115 grain ammo average of 1120 fps gives not enough slide speed to forcefully eject empties out of that 5 inch slide model. When shooting outdoors I will mount the C1 PRO on a light weight camera tripod while shooting handguns. Looking forward to checking handloaded rifle ammo with my C1 PRO.

I chose the Xero for ease of use across many different platforms- ARs, bolt guns, pistols, etc. The first day I tested about 40 different cartridges. Probably more than 150 rounds fired. The Xero didn’t miss any shots. MV and average were displayed on the unit and as soon as I set it up for the next string the one I just finished was on the app on my phone. So there I could see standard deviation. It was so simple and fast to use. I moved it to a taller tripod and chrono’d some pistol rounds. We even tested my friend’s crossbow and it worked great.
Easy to use across platforms, very easy to carry, dependable performance. It’s an investment, but it’s probably going to be used way more than any other chronograph simply because it is so light and small and simple to deploy.
My only critique is the one year warranty. But, I’ve found most of the big name manufacturers will offer at least a discounted replacement if something goes wrong outside the warranty period.

The Garmin Xero C1 Pro is amazingly easy-to-use and set up. Turn it on, make a few choices and it is ready to
go in 30 seconds. Yes it's expensive, but worth every penny because of its ease of setup and use. Git one, you won't regret it

Garmin absolutely crushed it with this little chrono. Amazingly easy to set-up, intuitive interface, very good accuracy. This product has made accurate chrono information accessible to the hobbiest shooter as well as the professional.
