The Geissele Automatics Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is a full-mass, M16-profile, full-auto-rated BCG built from premium materials and coatings for long-term durability and reliability.

The entire BCG is coated in Nanoweapon, a chrome-nitride finish that increases smoothness and surface hardness for corrosion resistance and easier cleaning. Longer upper rails help prevent carrier tilt and increase feeding reliability, and the bolt undergoes a proprietary heat-treating process that reduces impurities for a stronger, more consistent bolt than standard Carpenter 158 alternatives.
Founded in 2004 by Bill Geissele in Pennsylvania, Geissele Automatics built its reputation on precision AR-15 triggers before expanding into rail systems, gas systems, and complete bolt carrier groups, applying that same engineering rigor to every component they build.

Incredible

I purchased this BCG only because it was on sale. Although I have more than a few Geissele parts on this particular rifle, I already had a Lantac NiB enhanced BCG, so I didn’t really need this one; but I was wrong.
My first outing with this BGC, I saw a huge difference. My groupings at 100 yards (16” barrel, 3X optic, 55gr LC ammo) went from 2” to 1/2” instantly. After 300 rounds, it looked like it was still freshly lubed, where my Colt or Lantac NiB BCG’s look pretty nasty after the same round count. Cleaning it was was a breeze. I had chunks of carbon just falling off. Not even my NiB BCG’s were that easy.
All in, this Geissele BCG is the best I’ve ever seen. Hopefully, someday, they will make this in .308.
