The GFR Recce MOD1's ambidextrous control layout puts a magazine release on the left side of the receiver and bolt catch/release buttons on the right below the ejection port, letting the shooter apply pressure to the dust cover to lock the bolt open and hit a rearward release button to send it forward. This instinctive system speeds up reloads and malfunction clearances for both left- and right-handed shooters, rather than just accommodating one or the other as an afterthought. The Nanoweapon-coated Reliability Enhanced BCG and forged Carpenter 158+ bolt are built for long-term endurance under high round counts and adverse conditions, and the patented Phased Array Gas Technology reduces recoil impulse for a smoother shooting experience and faster target reacquisition.
