Details
Details
The Geissele MK14 Super Modular Handguard solves the bulk and rigidity trade-off of standard AR-15 rails with a slimmer profile and an updated barrel nut for easier, stronger installation. Built for shooters who want a lighter front end without losing zero, this 10.5" rail keeps a reduced diameter and height while adding extended surface contact with the receiver.
Features:
- 10.5" free-floating handguard
- Slim profile, reduced diameter and height
- 7000-series aluminum construction
- Updated 2.25" Geissele barrel nut for added rigidity
- M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock
- DDC Type III hardcoat anodized finish
Made from 7000-series aluminum, the MK14 uses Geissele’s updated barrel nut design, which extends surface contact with the receiver for consistent alignment and stability along the full length of the rail. M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions allow secure attachment of lights, bipods, and other accessories. The reduced diameter and height keep the handguard slim in hand, and the updated barrel nut design makes installation simpler than older Geissele rail systems. Note: Geissele’s Desert Dirt Color (DDC) finish covers a range of desert-terrain shades meant to break up a rifle’s outline. Shades can vary noticeably between production batches and are not intended to color-match; per Geissele, the only way to guarantee a uniform color across parts is to have them refinished with a coating such as DuraCoat or Cerakote.
Founded in 2004 by Bill Geissele in Pennsylvania, Geissele Automatics built its reputation on precision AR-15 triggers before expanding into rail systems and other combat-proven components. The company’s Super Modular Rail line has been adopted by U.S. Special Operations Command, reflecting the same engineering rigor Geissele applies across its entire product line.
