Geissele Automatics manufactures confidence, offering quality triggers and components for the warfighter and competitor. They were established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and their first trigger, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was so popular that they were asked by the Department of Defense to produce a select-fire trigger for the United States Special Operations. Again, it was a success and Geissele decided to bring a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

Shiny bronze dirt.
by Mark -
This seems to work very well, but "desert dirt" is actually a shiny bronze color. I'm knocking off a star just for the misleading color description.
Perfect buffer tube for my 50 shades of fde build!
by Samuel -
I really liked this buffer tube from geissele, they make great products and this one was spot on as well. It was the perfect color for my 50 shades of fde build! The DDC went well with magpul fde and Coyote tan as well! Would buy again
Great buffer tube nice color

Can't complain it looks nice on my 50 shades of fde build plus it's geissele!

Works well, great finish, desert dirt looks good.
Basically a regular Mil-Spec AR15 buffer tube but in a bronze/Coyote color
by Chaz Turbino -
Don't let the description/specs fool you into thinking this is some ultra lightweight buffer tube. It weighed in the same as my Armalite Mil-Spec buffer tube that I bought from Armalite back in 2007. No real differences in weight or size.
The Desert Dirt color is like a bronze/FDE/coyote brown mix. It would blend perfectly with FDE firearms like the SCAR, Vector, etc...
The castle nut and plate look to be of high quality. They came well oiled but seem to have a slick and hard nitride finish. I only took 1 star off because I thought it would be lighter than a normal buffer tube.
Inconsistent anodizing durability
by Chaz Turbino -
The anodizing seems to have held up with regular stock adjustment wear (metal locking post slide, MOE SL leaf spring slide, etc) but painter's tape lifted off two specks of the DDC anodizing at the top. Fairly expensive buffer tube for the Geissele name. The weight is the same if not slightly more (by a hair) compared to an ordinary Arma-Lite Mil-Spec buffer tube from 2007 which is typical for most regular AR15 buffer tubes.
